This cosy cottage in the peaceful village of Briston is just a short stroll to one of two welcoming pubs and several handy village shops including a traditional family butcher, a deli and a bakery. A 4-mile car journey takes you to the popular Georgian town of Holt which is a lovely place to spend an afternoon, browsing the bookshops and having lunch at one of the restaurants or pubs or hop on the Steam Railway which travels to Sheringham and back via Weybourne. Head 8 miles to Salthouse to walk along the beach and pick up the Norfolk Coast Path. Plan a trip to Wells-next-the-Sea, 13 miles away, to spend time on the sandy beach, lined with colourful beach huts and a visit to Blakeney Point (12 miles) is highly recommended where on a short boat trip you will see the counties largest grey seal colony.
This lovely cottage is a super base in which to explore the local area and beyond. When you enter you will see a cosy lounge which has enough seating for all, along with a Smart TV and a wood burner so no better place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring. The kitchen/diner is well equipped to cater for any special occasion and the dining table can comfortably seat up to four guests. There is a downstairs WC and utility cupboard which has the freezer and combi washer/dryer. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the master bedroom is a spacious with a double bed and offers ample storage space and bedroom two has a single trundle bed which can be made into a twin room on request depending on your preference. Both bedrooms share a family bathroom.
Although there is no outside space if you are bringing a dog there is a lovely park 235 metres from the front door which is very popular with dog walkers and there are plenty of alternative walks close by.
