Situated in the historic village of Little Walsingham, this period property offers peace and tranquillity in a picturesque setting, within easy reach of many of North Norfolk’s main attractions.
Stroll to nearby independent shops (including the award-winning Walsingham Farm shop), pubs, cafes and the Wells to Walsingham narrow gauge railway station. The village boasts the shrine of the Lady of Walsingham as well as a superb array of buildings featuring medieval timber-framed architecture. Within just a short distance are some must-see places of interest, including the popular harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea and its famous beach lined with colourful beach huts (6 miles), Holkham Hall, beach and nature reserve (7 miles), Blakeney Point, home to England’s largest seal colony (8 miles), and the beautiful Georgian town of Holt (12 miles).
After parking up in your designated carport, the cottage is accessed through the front door which opens into a characterful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. On a chilly evening, cosy up in the two armchairs in front of the roaring wood burner. There is a farmhouse kitchen table with two chairs should you wish to eat at the cottage (with two additional folding stools stowed away in case you have guests). Stairs lead to a spacious master bedroom featuring a king-size bed and plenty of storage and hanging space for your personal items and clothes. To revitalise your senses, enjoy a soak in the bath or a shower in the en-suite bathroom.
Stepping outside, you will love the patio. The comfortable outdoor seating overlooks the beautiful, shared garden, along the bottom of which runs the River Stiffkey. Take in the sun, enjoy some drinks and dine alfresco in an idyllic setting.
