The charming village of Kelling is ideal for exploring the northern coast of Norfolk, and is close to the shingle beach at Salthouse. The Muckleburgh Military Collection is a mile away, or you could explore the fantastic nature reserves at Blakeney, Cley and Sheringham (all within 5 miles). From Blakeney Point you can take a boat trip out to visit a local colony of grey seals. Just 4 miles away is the bustling market town of Holt, and the seaside towns of Wells-next-the-Sea (13 miles) and Cromer (10 miles) are within easy reach. Other attractions include the watermill at Letheringsett, Baconsthorpe Castle and Binham Priory, or you could take a trip on a steam train via the North Norfolk Railway.
On entering this spacious and attractively decorated character cottage, you will find a charming entrance hall, which has plenty of space for coats and boots. This leads you through to the welcoming lounge, which is a lovely space to unwind in with wooden floors an open fire and comfortable seating, Sky TV, DVD and CD. A rear hall leads through to the attractive and fully equipped kitchen. Complete with 5 ring hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, the kitchen also has a lovely dining area with seating for up to 6 people and an island unit as well a decorative wood burner in the original fireplace. There is also a ground-floor WC and utility room with a washing machine. Moving upstairs, you will find two cosy bedrooms which overlook the garden: there’s a King-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a large twin room. There is also a shower room with a large walk-in shower. Please note the en-suite bathroom can be accessed from the shower room, though the en-suite can be locked for privacy.
Stepping outside, you will find the south-facing garden is divided into several areas: there’s a large paved patio area fenced off with picket fencing with BBQ, a small, L-shaped lawn, and a raised patio to the rear. This wonderfully secluded garden features rambling roses and cottage garden shrubs and is an ideal space to unwind in at the end of a great day. High wooden gates lead to a large gravelled parking area.
