Salthouse is a pretty coastal village which is a fantastic place to enjoy a relaxed holiday near the sea. Walk from the cottage straight into the village centre with its welcoming pub and its charming crab shack. The village beach is situated within 0.5 miles of the cottage and is a delightful shingle beach which stretches east to Kelling and west to Cley-next-the-Sea. The salt marshes, which are literally on the property’s doorstep span for 66 hectares and are home to a wealth of wildlife, making an ideal spot for keen walkers, wildlife enthusiasts, and those with an interest in photography. The dawn sunrise over the marsh (for those up early !), is one of nature's wonders.
A garden path leads up to the front door of this property and brings guests to the characterful lounge with its inglenook fire place with its warming wood burner, beamed ceiling, and TV/DVD which can be enjoyed from the comfortable seating. Next to the lounge, the kitchen/diner is finished in a homely style and offers a dining table seating four as well as an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and washing machine. The contemporary-style bathroom with its shower-over-bath and WC can also be found on the ground floor, as can the separate shower room with its shower and WC. The two bedrooms can be found upstairs, the first of which is a king-size room, with the second room being a restful twin.
Outside, gardens to the front and rear offer plenty of outdoor space to relax, with garden furniture allowing guests to enjoy al fresco dining. There is curb-side parking available on the road just outside the cottage.
