A little over a mile outside the seaside town of Sheringham, Church View Cottage lies in a great location for exploring beautiful North Norfolk. Enjoy an easy stroll to the National Trust’s Sheringham Park, designed by Humphrey Repton, where you will find a stunning sea of colour thanks to its rows upon rows of glorious rhododendrons, as well as striking sea views and access to the Norfolk Coast Path. Sheringham itself, home of the North Norfolk Railway, offers a traditional British seaside day out; take in the sights from the long-stretching promenade, relax on the sandy beach, or dine on the coastal classic of fish ‘n’ chips. You will find a fantastic array of restaurants, shops and tea rooms in Sheringham as well as in the Georgian town of Holt, a fifteen minute drive away. No winter stay is complete without embracing the town’s history at the annual Viking Festival.

Step into this family-friendly country cottage and you will feel immediately at home, with contemporary style and comfort evident throughout. The lounge, with its warming open fire and Smart TV, has space for five to relax and unwind, while the adjoining conservatory is a pleasant space to curl up with a good book and soak up the sun’s rays. You will find the shaker-style kitchen equipped with everything you could need during your stay, including an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Tassimo coffee maker. The dining room with its extendable table comfortably sits five. There is also a washer/dryer for your use. Heading upstairs, you will find three good sized bedrooms - one king, one twin, and one single - with views over the garden to the rear and the historic church to the front. You will also find a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath.

Outside there is a patio area with garden furniture - a great place to unwind after a busy day exploring. From here, four steps lead up to the charming enclosed garden. Allocated parking is also available.

Churchview Cottage met all expectations. Situated in picturesque Upper Sheringham, visually the setting could not be much better. Lovely surroundings and nice friendly neighbours too. Due to perfect weather, we did not expreience the cottage under very testing conditions. As things were, we had no complaints. Some people (families particularly) mayRead more struggle with the lack of TV reception. Other than that, the accommodation was top class. 30min walk to Sheringham town, bus stop on doorstep Hide
