Situated at the edge of the laidback town of Wells-next-the-Sea, this beautiful property is perfect for exploring this wonderful area. The pretty quayside and many good pubs, restaurants and shops are only a few minutes walk away. From the quayside it is just a short distance to the glorious sandy beach. Lovely coastal towns including Hunstanton, Brancaster and Thornham are within easy reach, or you could take a trip on the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway to Little Walsingham. Also nearby are thriving market towns including Fakenham and Holt. Wells is perfect for exploring miles of stunning coast and beautiful countryside, and is perfect for visiting Sandringham, Houghton House, the 25,000 acre Holkham Estate and Pensthorpe Natural Park.

On entering this spacious and attractive Georgian-style house, you will find yourself in the light and welcoming lounge, with plenty of comfy seating, TV/DVD and a flame effect gas fire. French doors open out onto the terrace and rear garden. Heading into the spacious and tastefully decorated kitchen/diner you will find a charming dining area for up to twelve guests. The stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with an integrated electric double oven, grill and microwave, gas hob, American-style fridge/freezer with ice and cold water dispenser, dishwasher and an island unit/breakfast bar. The dining area has a large table seating up to twelve. French doors open onto the rear terrace and garden which catches the sun for most of the day. The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the nearby utility room. Exploring the ground floor further, you will find a large bedroom with a king-size bed. There’s also a wet-room with a power shower and WC. There is a separate ground-floor WC. Going upstairs, the landing offers beautiful views over the marsh, and you will find four more bedrooms. There’s a master bedroom with a super  king-size bed, separate dressing room and an en-suite bathroom with a corner shower unit and WC. There’s also a king size  bedroom with sea views, a Super king with an en-suite bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC, and a children’s room with full-size bunk beds and 2 single beds.

Stepping outside you will find a large slate terrace at the back of the house with garden furniture and a BBQ, allowing you to sit back and dine al fresco. A few steps lead up to large lawn with children’s toys and a wendy house, which is enclosed by trees, hedges and a five bar gate. There is a large gravel drive at the front of the house with ample parking for four cars.

Wyndswept is a lovely, spacious property for large groups. It is well equipped and comfortable. Having a supermarket close by was a bonus and the walk to the quay and beyond very enjoyable.

This was our second visit and our family very much enjoy our holidays at Wyndswept. There were however a few issues which we think could be adressed. Main bedroom - bed sheet too small, shower door very noisy, shower fitting broken. Wyndswept is a great property for a big family. Fantastic size with huge bedrooms, garden space and driveway for 5-6 cards in a good location for walking into wells. That said, the internals of the property are slightly tired throughout. For the price, don't expect luxury, but a brilliant big family space.

It is a lovely big house, the underfloor heating was wonderful in the kitchen specially when staying there in the winter. The garden didn't seem completely self contained which would have been a worry if we had brought the dog. Walking round the house keeps your steps up!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family. The house was warm and given that our stay was in November it was very cosy. Our second stay at Wyndswept and same as our previous visit our whole family (age ranges from 6 to 86 yrs), enjoyed every minute we were there. The location is ideal to explore the area and we actually hired a beach hut at Wells for the day.

Some aspects of the property met our expectations, but others didn't. If charging a significant amount of money for rental, the basic decor, bedding, towels and curtains should reflect the price. We had a wonderful stay. The town is 10 minutes walk away, well stocked coop is 5 mins away and the beach is within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and pubs to chose from also within walking distance. The property is spacious and well specced. Well definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely multi-age family stay at 'Wyndswept' last weekend and had a brilliant time. The house itself is very large, comfortable and clean and everybody really enjoyed their stay.
