This property is situated on a quiet road in the pretty seaside village of Old Hunstanton, a quiet alternative to the neighbouring resort town of Hunstanton. In the summer months the wide expanse of sandy beach in the village is perfect for relaxed days sunbathing, paddling, and playing beach games. On cooler days wrap up and head out along the coastal path for a scenic walk, or perhaps sit and watch the kite-surfers for whom Old Hunstanton is a favourite spot. In the village itself there is a handy shop with a post office, a cafe, and a welcoming pub, so there is no need to go far to stock up on supplies or fancy going out for lunch. Just around the coast, within two miles of the property, Hunstanton is a well-appointed town with a good range of shops and places to eat, as well as a busy seafront, excellent beach, and an interesting Sea Life sanctuary.
Stepping inside this property for the first time, guests will be struck by just how spacious the house is, both inside and out. Several doors lead off from the hallway, including one to each of the lounges. To the right-hand side of the front door, the main lounge is a large inviting room which is open-plan to the dining room and offers a fantastic space for guests to enjoy spending time together on the two comfortable sofas which have been placed next to the warming open fire. The dining area sits alongside the patio doors which open onto the garden and has a dining table sitting up to eight guests. Across the hallway, the second lounge is another inviting space, this one with a piano, Smart TV, and a CD player. The kitchen, meanwhile, is a light and airy room with breakfast bar seating alongside a good range of equipment including a double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, whilst the washer/dryer can be found in the separate utility room with WC. Two of the property’s bedrooms, both twin rooms, can be found on the ground floor, both of which benefit from en-suite shower rooms, each with a shower and WC. One of the rooms also has patio doors opening directly onto the patio and garden. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms. The first of these is a pleasant king-size room, whilst the other is an attractive twin room which boasts its own private roof terrace overlooking the garden. The bathroom on this floor has a shower-over-bath and WC.
The property’s garden is a generously-sized space extending around to the side and rear of the house, offering a large lawn and a patio seating area where there is a large table and chairs seating up to eight guests. There is also a BBQ, as well as a table tennis table and three bikes which the owners have provided for guests’ use. Off-road parking can be found to the front of the property, where there is space for three cars.
