Located on the breath-taking northern coast of Norfolk, the picturesque Victorian seaside village of Mundesley offers a beautiful beach with colourful beach huts, shallow rock pools and sand stretching out for miles. With a choice of shops, cafes and restaurants, Mundesley retains much of its old-world charm with plenty of quaint cottages, a Maritime Museum and Stow Mill, a 19th century flour mill. Set in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the Norfolk Broads National Park, Mundesley makes a great base for a wonderful family holiday, with the nearby cliffs offering glorious views and wonderful opportunities for spectacular walks. You can also visit the Norfolk Broads, Cromer, Great Yarmouth and the historic city of Norwich. The nearest beach is located approximately only a 10 minute walk away, perfect for an evening stroll or a day building sandcastles.

Set in a holiday village with assistance on hand 24/7, this delightful property is one of four lovely conversions which surround a pretty shared garden area. On entering this lovely and inviting single-level barn conversion, you will find yourself in the cosy and attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With plenty of comfy seating and TV, the lounge offers an ideal space for relaxing at the end of a great day out. There’ a charming dining area, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Exploring further you will find two cosy bedrooms: there’s one double room and a twin room, both with plenty of storage space. There is also a shower room complete with a large walk-in shower and WC.

Stepping outside you will find a charming garden which is shared with the three other properties on-site. There is also a fantastic games room in a central location. A large open-plan space with plenty of sofas and tables and an enormous TV screen, there’s also a snooker table, pool table (pay as you go) as well as table football, board games, table tennis and customer toilets. Outside is a sun terrace with tables and chairs, making this the ideal place to go if you want a little bit of extra space to relax and have fun.

The cottage was very clean and an ideal size for us both and our dog snd had everything we required. The welcome pack was very generous and lovely gift of the tea towels as well. Very impressed overall and would love to return for another stay.

We were very happy with the cottage which had all the equipment we required for our break at the Mundesley Holiday Village. The cottage is not large but suited us for our holiday stay.

We stayed a week in Kestrel Cottage. It was lovely! Very well appointed, clean, warm and adjustable heating, and very quiet. Mundesley Holiday Village is so conveniently located to visit places like Felbrigg, Sheringham, Happisburgh and obit a few minutes along the coastal path and you're onto Mundesley Beach. My dog ADORES Mundesley Beach for run,Read more run, running. This was my 3rd visit to the village and it won't be my last! I'd recommend in a heart beat! Hide

Not all cottages are the same we had a fold out table and stools which were no good for 2 disabled people and a 2 year old. Could have been cleaner.

The cottage was small but perfectly formed! Very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a home from home, it even has a wine fridge (which was heavily used! ) The welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, butter and bread was great after a 6 hour trek to get there. Location wise it is very close to a lovely sandy beach and the village has a coRead moreuple of nice pubs to eat in a short walk away along the cliffs. I would happily recommend and happily return. We have never been to Norfolk before but we will definitely be returning if its peace and quiet youre in need of this is a gem to stay at short walks to stunning beaches . Really enjoyed our stay, great location 15 min walk along cliff top walk to Mundesley. Benefitted from great weather, eating meals in shared outside area. Another lovely stay in Kestrel Cottage. Fully equipped for all your needs and even has a dish washer, wine cooler and a smart tv that even has Disney channel and Netflix included. Also what a lovely gesture on arrival we had a lovely loaf of bread ,4 pint of milk, butter and 6 eggs. Looking at booking again next year.

Handy location for adventures up and down the norfolk coast. Dog friendly in terms of accommodation. Cliff path is a 10 min walk to the edge Mundesley and brings you out at the life guard station. The beach is a hike down the slopes or stairs so be prepared. Unfortunately the coastal path to Bacton is blocked off by the gas company siting unstable Read morecliff so bear in mind. Hide
