A little further north the stunning coastal estate of Holkham Hall boasts a handsome 18th-century Palladian manor house set within an impressive 25000 acres of land, including a stunning sweeping beach which featured in an iconic scene with Gwyneth Paltrow in the film, ‘Shakespeare in Love’.

The front door opens directly into the attractive lounge/diner with its wooden beams, brick fireplace, cosy wood burner, and traditional Norfolk pavement tiles. The soft furnishings on the two sofas have been carefully chosen to complement the style of the cottage, as has the pretty rug on the floor. The owners have provided a selection of books for guests to enjoy, as well as a TV/DVD in the lounge. A doorway leads through to the kitchen which has a range of prettily-painted units, offering an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, and freezer. The steep cottage style stairs lead to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, the master bedroom is a delightful double room with a wooden floor, dressing table, and bedside tables. Whilst the second bedroom is a peaceful single room suitable for a child. The bathroom can also be found on the first floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC.
From the back door there is a shared path giving access to the rear to the neighbouring properties, a gate then leads through to an enclosed pretty garden with mature borders and a secluded seating area under a tree for which there is garden furniture provided. At the end of the garden, past the gate, the River Burn runs past, beyond which there is off-road parking for two cars.
