Swallow Dean was a very comfortable warm little bungalow with great views over farmland. Situated in the heart of Norfolk it gave us great access to all the coastline and Norwich on the doorstep. We were fascinated by the barn owl peeping out of the nesting box in the morning across the field in the oak tree. We also liked the blue pattern crockeryRead more. The property was very clean and well equipped. It is in a very peaceful setting and we watched deer and barn owls almost daily. It is the second time we have stayed there and will definitely be making it an annual holiday.

Lovely location and well equipped bungalow. Responsive owners and easy to get to many attractions. The single beds may be better suited for children.

Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable but could do with a double bed rather than a small double. Outside would have liked a closed in garden. Our mistake as we should have read the reviews first. But other than that, a beautiful place to stay. Good location. Locals are very friendly. Weve had a lovely week there. Thank you to the owners for sharinRead moreg there home with us. Hide

A comfortable and well equipped cottage to stay, centrally placed in mid Norfolk. We particularly enjoyed Cafe Verde which offered good food and excellent and friendly customer service. A relaxing stay.

Beautiful bungalow equipped with everything one might need for a short stay. The village is quiet and about 30-40 minutes to any major attraction in any direction so made a really good central base. The outdoor space is not dog/escape proof and there are fields with livestock nearby. The parking is ample.

Good location. Plenty of wildlife, pheasant, barn owls, bats and muntjac deer to watch from accommodation. But I feel the lack of maintenance of the property let's it down.

The cottage was in a very quiet location, yet not far from all amenities. There is a regular bus service to Norwich which made a nice change from driving in. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped and we enjoyed many evenings sitting in the garden watching the wildlife. Would definitely return
