A tasteful, modern refurbishment undertaken about two years ago has given this home a clean, sleek look with a slight Scandinavian feel to it.

The intelligently laid out interior consists of a large open plan living space with the bedrooms off to one side giving private and quiet sleeping arrangements.

The entrance hall to the cottage is bright and a perfect size for shedding beach paraphernalia and wellies after a day out.  Through a secondary door you enter the large open plan ‘L’ shaped living space. There is a good sized kitchen with all modern appliances, and dining area that comfortably seats up to 6 people. From the dining area is the sitting room; the wall here is completely glazed with modern sliding doors allowing the room to be opened up completely into the west facing garden. There is a colourful comfortable sofa to relax on and a wall mounted TV& DVD. At the end of the sitting area is a study area for those unfortunate enough to have to bring work with them. A study desk and WiFi are provided.

The bedrooms and bathroom are located from the kitchen via an inner hallway. The master bedroom has a kingsized bed, plus a small sofa, TV & DVD player plus an ensuite shower room with WC and hand basin. The twin room is of good size, this room and the master bedroom both look out to the front of the house.  The third bedroom has a double bed, hand sink, TV & DVD player and views over the rear garden.
The family bathroom has modern white sanitary ware with a rather lovely freestanding, double ended bath. There is also a separate shower cubicle.

Outside there is a fully enclosed part walled garden with a lawn, patio and pretty shrub borders. It is west facing and is a real sun trap. To the back of the garden is a utility shed where the washing machine and tumble dryer is kept. The front garden has room enough to park two cars. There are some small trees and shrubs along with fencing which provide privacy to the front of the cottage.

A great pub with good food, the village shop and cafe are all within an easy walk. The beach and cliffs are also walking distance and for ramblers there are walks varying form coastal paths to the lovely heathland at the top of the hill. The poppy line steam railway station is also at the top of the hill.
